Pelton Buffs is one of those places you just come to.
It’s been part of village life for years, shaped by the people around it and the kind of community Pelton’s always been known for. A place where people worked hard, looked out for each other, and valued having somewhere to switch off at the end of the day.
That’s where clubs like this came from, and that’s what’s stuck.
We come in for the match, a game of darts or dominoes, bingo, a bit of music, or just a pint and a catch up. Some faces have been coming through these doors for years, others are newer, but it all blends the same once you’re in.
It’s not fancy, and it’s not trying to be. It’s just a good, honest club with a proper mix of people and something going on most days of the week.
If you’ve been before, you’ll know what it’s about.
If you haven’t, you’ll be made welcome.
No need to leave your four-legged mate at home.
As long as they’re kept on a lead, they’re more than welcome to come along and settle in with you. If they fancy a sit down, they can hop up on a chair as long as there’s a blanket down (we’re friendly, not posh… but we do like to keep the chairs fur-free when we can).
You’ll find treats, water, and a few bits in our little pet corner, so they’re just as looked after as you are. Most of them settle in quicker than the humans anyway.
